UrbanMetrix at Prix SIA with "Mobilis in Mobili"

The startup providing site-analysis and conceptual-design software for architects has been selected to compete in the public award of the Prix SIA with the project "Mobilis in Mobili". The award, given by the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects, aims to recognise innovative and interdisciplinary achievements and approaches in the field of building culture.

At the core of the UrbanMetrix solution is an inverted design process that translates environmental characteristics of the building site, such as solar radiation, views and traffic noise, into design suggestions that help shape the architectural concept from the earliest phases. 

The "Mobilis in Mobili" project, result of the collaboration between UrbanMetrix and Archimethod, illustrates the practical application of this approach where environmental analysis serves as a starting point for creating a building shaped by criteria of health, sustainability and environmental performance. 

Anyone who wishes to support the project can cast a vote through the Prix SIA website until 8 June.

The software developed by UrbanMetrix will soon be available to all Swiss architects and engineers with the official launch of the platform planned for June 2026.
