UrbanMetrix wins the Prix SIA Public Award with "Mobilis in Mobili"

UrbanMetrix, in collaboration with Archimethod, received the Public Award at the Prix SIA 2026. Selected among 183 projects in architecture, engineering and urban planning, “Mobilis in Mobili” emerged as the preferred project of more than 1,800 online voters.

At the core of the project’s solution is an inverted design process that places environmental analysis at the centre of architectural development from the earliest stages. Through a digital toolset, data such as solar radiation, views and traffic noise are translated into practical design parameters that help shape architectural concepts according to criteria of health, sustainability and environmental performance.

The award comes alongside the official launch of the UrbanMetrix software platform, now available to explore on their website UrbanMetrix | Data-driven design for sustainable buildings . With this recognition from the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects, the startup strengthens its position as an emerging technology company supporting more data-driven and sustainable design practices.
