Two startups from the USI Startup Centre community have been recognised among Switzerland’s most promising companies in the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award 2026. InkVivo Technologies, an alumni startup, ranked 64th, while currently incubated InVirtuoLabs entered the national ranking for the first time at 99th place.

The TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award brings together 100 leading investors and startup experts each year to select the companies they believe have the greatest potential. Now in its 16th edition, the ranking has become an important benchmark for Switzerland’s innovation ecosystem, highlighting emerging companies across different sectors, including biotech, cleantech and robotics.

Ranked 64th, InkVivo Technologies is part of the USI Startup Centre alumni network. It develops next-generation drug delivery solutions based on a proprietary polymer platform designed to enable controlled, localised and sustained release of active ingredients. The company previously appeared in the TOP 100 ranking in 2023 and 2024.

InVirtuoLabs makes its debut in the TOP 100 this year, entering the ranking at 99th place. Currently incubated at the USI Startup Centre, the startup is developing an AI-enabled platform for drug discovery that combines generative artificial intelligence with molecular simulations to design and evaluate potential molecules. The approach aims to identify promising candidates earlier and make the drug discovery process faster and more efficient.

Alongside InkVivo and InVirtuoLabs, a third Ticino-based company, Jaipur Robotics, also features in this year’s TOP 100, bringing the number of startups from the region in the 2026 ranking to three.
