The deeptech startup incubated at USI Startup Centre has been named one of the 10 winners of the MassChallenge Switzerland Early-stage Accelerator 2026. Selected from 189 finalists across the Swiss and UK cohorts, Flycatcher will now compete for cash prizes at the final awards ceremony in Lausanne on 29 October.

Following its selection for the MassChallenge Switzerland & UK Accelerator Programme 2026 in June, Flycatcher has reached another important milestone. The startup that develops AI-powered solutions for industrial inspection has been recognised as one of the 10 winners of this year's programme.

Flycatcher stood out in the AI & Autonomy category, following a competitive selection process involving startups from a wide range of industries and countries. The achievement marks another step forward for the company, which has spent the past months refining its business model, strengthening its commercial strategy and exploring new opportunities for growth through the MassChallenge programme.

Currently incubated at USI Startup Centre, Flycatcher is developing innovative technology to improve the monitoring of production lines and critical industrial assets. Its AI-powered system uses unsupervised anomaly detection to identify previously unseen irregularities in real time, helping companies prevent operational disruptions and improve safety and efficiency.

The recognition by MassChallenge represents an important validation of Flycatcher's innovative approach and business potential, as the team works towards bringing its technology to the market. On 29 October, together with the other 9 winning startups, the team will take the stage in Lausanne to pitch their solution and compete for cash prizes ranging from CHF 10,000 to more than CHF 100,000.
