DEC Energy recognised at the FinTech Awards Italia 2026

The DEC Energy team has received the eVISO AI Special Award at the sixth edition of the FinTech Awards Italia, recognising its innovative approach to renewable energy production and consumption.

The award ceremony took place on 8 October at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan, home of the Italian Stock Exchange, bringing together companies, institutions and innovators from the financial technology sector. Known as the "Oscars of FinTech", the FinTech Awards Italia celebrate companies and solutions driving innovation in financial services and related industries. Presented by eVISO, the award highlights DEC Energy's efforts to combine finance, technology and renewable energy.

Incubated at USI Startup Centre, DEC Energy has developed a digital platform that connects renewable energy producers with companies seeking to make their energy consumption more sustainable. Through the platform, businesses can source electricity from specific renewable energy plants and obtain the corresponding Guarantees of Origin, ensuring greater transparency and traceability.

The award marks another important milestone for DEC Energy, following its recognition among the top three Swiss startups in the Finance & Insurance category at the >>venture>> competition in 2025 and its recent partnership with BancaStato to promote the production and consumption of renewable energy in Ticino.
