Business Ideas 2025

Business Ideas is a motivational, recurring event focused on entrepreneurship, dedicated to students, university researchers, and anyone interested in launching or joining a startup. It is organised by USI and SUPSI as part of the federal Innosuisse Entrepreneurship Training programme.

At this year’s edition, you will have the opportunity to explore the innovative projects developed during the latest Business Concept training modules held in Lugano and Mendrisio. These projects will be presented in a pitch competition format and evaluated by a jury of experts from the startup ecosystem, awarding a total of three prizes, including a special Audience Award voted directly by the event’s attendees. In addition, you will learn more about two startup support initiatives available in the country: the Innosuisse Entrepreneurship Training programme and the Boldbrain Startup Challenge, designed to help young entrepreneurs transform their ideas into a real startup.

Beyond the competition, the event is an opportunity to connect with the entrepreneurial community, share ideas, explore the local innovation landscape, and find inspiration in a stimulating and motivational environment.
