Business Concept

Do you have an innovative business idea and are eager to gain the right tools to turn it into reality?

Featuring a boot camp and 10 evening sessions, the 'Business Concept' module teaches participants how to think and act like entrepreneurs, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to help them set up and run their own company.

The sessions are led by experienced trainers, who will teach you the essence of the startup world. During the course, participants will be divided into groups, each working on a proposed business project and developing a mini-business plan.

Duration
The course is held in-person and consists of 1 bootcamp and 10 evening sessions form 17:30 to 21:15.

Participants
The course is open to students, doctoral students, members of staff, post-doctoral students and anyone with a compelling and innovative science-based idea to turn into reality. It is conducted entirely in English and to ensure the best experience, the course is limited to a maximum of 25 participants. 

In Ticino, three Business Concept programmes are held each year: one in Lugano, one in Bellinzona mainly dedicated on the Life Sciences sector, and one in Mendrisio mainly dedicated to the construction and design sector.
